At a 2014 auction, Donald Trump spent $10,000 of Foundation money to purchase a four-foot-tall portrait of himself that he had bid on and won.

The portrait was subsequently hung on the wall at Trump National Doral Miami, Mr. Trump’s Florida golf resort.

According to the New York Attorney General, “This was improper self-dealing,” but in our defense, there is very little demand for giant portraits of Mr. Trump, and few establishments not owned by him are interested in displaying oversized portraits of his face.
